NAB in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Analyst, Correspondent Banking to join the Due Diligence team and strengthen risk controls across cross-border relationships.

In this role you’ll complete Enhanced Customer Due Diligence, assess AML/CTF risks, sanctions and reputational risk, and contribute to regulator-ready outcomes with collaboration across risk, compliance, and payments teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) or equivalent controls.
• Completion of vostro due diligence reviews in financial crime or regulated finance.
• Knowledge of cross-border payments and correspondent banking risk.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with risk, compliance and business stakeholders.

In the role of Senior Analyst, Correspondent Banking, you will join the Correspondent Banking Due Diligence team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Each Day, You'll Go Above And Beyond To

• Complete Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) and periodic reviews of correspondent banks in line with NAB policies and AML/CTF requirements.
• Assess money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions, and reputational risks linked to correspondent banking relationships.
• Monitor correspondent banks for changes in risk and escalation issues using NAB's established governance processes.
• Prepare clear and concise risk assessments and recommendations to support onboarding, review, or exit decisions.
• Work with Financial Crime, Compliance, Payments, and Operations teams to support consistent risk outcomes. Assist with regulatory reviews, audits, and remediation activities relating to correspondent banking.

• Proven experience delivering Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) or Equivalent Controls (EC), specifically 2EC (Analyst) and 4EC (Senior Analyst).
• Demonstrated Experience in completion of vostro due diligence reviews in financial crime, or a regulated financial services environment.
• Knowledge of cross-border payments and correspondent banking risk.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.
