Hall & Wilcox is seeking an experienced senior AML/CTF and sanctions compliance professional to lead the firm’s program. You will be responsible for ongoing operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of AML/CTF controls while guiding sanctions compliance at a strategic level.

In collaboration with senior stakeholders, you will oversee risk assessments, client due diligence, onboarding and suspicious matter reporting, and you will act as the primary contact for AUSTRAC and other

Qualificações

• Legal qualification with AML/CTF knowledge and CAMS is preferred.
• Experience in AML/CTF within law firms or professional services.
• Strong understanding of Australian AML/CTF laws and sanctions.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the AML/CTF compliance program, policies and reporting.
• Manage sanctions screening, risk assessment and escalation processes.
• Provide strategic guidance on client due diligence and onboarding.
• Act as primary AUSTRAC liaison and regulator contact.
• Monitor developments and drive improvement of controls.
• Deliver training and reporting to senior stakeholders.
