Job summary

UNE, via LabNext70, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (AI Systems) to architect backend systems powering LLM-enabled initiatives across the university. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered infrastructure with a security-first mindset.

You'll lead end-to-end delivery from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring robust CI/CD practices, performance, and reliability in AWS environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python backend development with scalable system design.
• Experience delivering end-to-end, production-grade AI systems.
• Familiarity with React frontend and security-first architecture.
• Experience operating production AWS-based systems with IaC.

Responsibilities
