Job summary

Amazon in Melbourne seeks an experienced Applied AI Solutions Architect to accelerate customer adoption of agentic WorkSpaces. You will co-build AI solutions, configure tools and data integrations, and drive production deployments in client environments.

You will pair-program with customer engineers, design prompts, and implement MCP-based tool exposure, ensuring scalable and secure AI workloads across enterprise desktops.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience with AI systems.
• Familiarity with MCP and/or A2A protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand requirements and IT landscape.
• Translate findings into implementation plans from evaluation to production deployment.
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions for Agentic WorkSpaces, including AI agent creation and prompt engineering.
• Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and scripting (Python/Node.js).
• Architect secure access patterns to cloud data systems to power AI agent tools and RAG.
• Guide deployment of WorkSpaces platforms (Personal, Pools, Applications) for agentic AI experiences.
• Validate AI agent performance against defined criteria before production rollout.
• Create reusable artifacts and contribute to knowledge base and roadmap.
