Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks a hands-on Solutions Architect to accelerate adoption of Amazon Connect AI capabilities. You will embed with customers to design integrations, build tooling, and drive production-ready deployments.

You will lead data readiness, model selection, prompt engineering, and multi-agent orchestration across enterprise systems, using MCP, Lambda, and Bedrock to deliver rapid time-to-value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions or experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP or similar CCaaS technology
• Experience with complex CCaaS implementations
• Knowledge of data readiness, prompts and tool integrations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and translate into designs and implementation plans
• Conduct data readiness assessments across customer systems to identify gaps and establish data foundations for AI agent tools
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions within Amazon Connect, including multi-agent orchestration and tool integration
• Deploy MCP servers to expose customer tools, data sources, and APIs for AI agent discovery
• Architect agent-to-agent communication patterns enabling multi-agent workflows across enterprise boundaries
• Build serverless integrations (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Python/Node.js) connecting AI agents with data systems
• Leverage agentic development environments to accelerate development and AI-assisted coding
• Guide AI agent testing and evaluation against success criteria before production deployment
• Create reusable artifacts to scale best practices
