Job summary

Rest is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (AI) to shape quality assurance for AI-powered solutions, strengthening automation and reducing risk for members. You will design and manage comprehensive test plans, automate end-to-end tests and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure reliable experiences.

You’ll bring strong Python/SQL coding skills, hands-on automation experience with Playwright/TypeScript, and familiarity with AI platforms.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst.
Strong coding capability in Python, SQL or similar languages with version control, testing and automation.
Hands-on experience with AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry and other LLM-based services.
Experience carrying out Test Planning and stakeholder management.
Knowledge of testing principles, methods, tools and technologies, including plans, scenarios, strategies and related procedures.
Experience designing and developing Test Plans and Test Cases with minimal Requirements and Design documents.
Working knowledge of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
Ability to work autonomously and act as the project contact when required.
Industry experience within Superannuation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and implement the AI API Assurance Framework with standards and test controls.
Build business-flow API automated tests across services for end-to-end validation.
Automate end-to-end user journeys through the Angular UI WebApp using Playwright.
Contribute to and evolve the Playwright and TypeScript automation framework.
Plan for opportunities to develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
Effectively manage test data, review and refine test scenarios, ensure seamless testing processes.
Create and update Test Reporting Dashboards with insights for stakeholders.
Identify, document and track defects using Jira and coordinate triages with delivery teams.
Work with cross-functional teams to align testing activities with project goals.
