Job summary

Karbon is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to balance quality and speed across our AI-powered practice management platform. You will own quality initiatives, coach engineers in testing, and lead test automation efforts in a collaborative, globally distributed team.

You’ll work with Playwright and other frameworks, apply API/testing expertise, and help shape the QA roadmap. This role emphasizes autonomy, curiosity, and strong communication as we deliver reliable software for accounting

Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks (TestCafe, Cypress, webdriver.io).
• Strong coaching ability to guide engineers in testing practices and test automation.
• Experience in API, contract, and integration testing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of quality and lead resolution of defects.
• Balance quality with meeting deadlines and project speed.
• Collaborate effectively within a distributed team, remote or office.
• Ensure reliability of new and existing products and drive test strategy.
