Job summary

Cuscal Limited is recruiting a Senior AI Engineer in Sydney to lead the delivery of production-grade AI and Generative AI platforms. You will design, build, test, deploy and support AI solutions, working with LLMs and retrieval augmented generation.

The role emphasizes integration with enterprise APIs, data platforms, and business systems in a secure, scalable production environment. The successful candidate has hands-on experience in production AI, cloud deployment, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Proven experience building, deploying and supporting production software or AI solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks; experience building production APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and AI lifecycle practices (CI/CD, testing, model lifecycle).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and support AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Develop applications using large language models (LLMs) and AI services.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using enterprise data.
