Job summary

H2O.ai, Sydney-based, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship end-to-end AI solutions for APAC enterprises. You will build agentic AI systems, LLM-powered applications, and production ML pipelines in a hands-on, customer-facing role.

You will collaborate with Kaggle Grandmasters, ML engineers, and domain experts to deploy AI into production, workflows, and measurable business outcomes from day one. Based in Sydney, Australia, with a remote-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
• Experience building LLM-powered apps (RAG, agents, fine-tuned models).
• Strong Python and ML framework skills; cloud/on-prem deployment experience.
• Experience with AI tools and LLM tooling (LangChain, LlamaIndex).

Responsibilities

• Design and ship end-to-end AI solutions for APAC enterprise problems.
• Develop and deploy LLM-powered applications and agentic AI systems.
• Collaborate with customer-facing field team and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs; integrate AI into customer environments.
