Job summary

Automic Group is seeking a Senior Delivery Lead – AI to coordinate end-to-end AI, data and agent-enabled initiatives across our product and technology pipeline. You will guide projects from discovery through production, balancing experimentation with delivery discipline and responsible AI practices.

The role requires navigating ambiguity, aligning senior stakeholders, and delivering secure, scalable, production-ready solutions. Hybrid work is available in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading complex technology delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders in agile environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, data-intensive or intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong program, project and agile delivery-management capability, including planning, prioritisation, forecasting and risk management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, AI, Data, Security, Risk and business functions.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge and influence senior leaders.
• Sound knowledge of AI and software delivery lifecycles, cloud platforms, data management, integrations and enterprise systems.
• An understanding of AI delivery risks, including data readiness, evaluation, privacy, responsible AI, human oversight and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI, data and agent-enabled initiatives from discovery and experimentation through to production and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, AI, Data, Security, Risk, Operations and the broader business.
• Manage scope, priorities, delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, resources and stakeholder communication.
• Establish clear success measures and evidence requirements for progressing AI capabilities from experiment to pilot and production.
• Coordinate AI evaluation, security, privacy, responsible AI, human oversight and operational-readiness activities.
• Build collaborative, accountable teams while maintaining delivery discipline, quality and a focus on completed outcomes.
• Support business adoption and benefits realisation by integrating AI capabilities into operational workflows and change activities.
