Job summary

BaptistCare’s Kintyre Lodge Aged Care Home in Dubbo NSW is seeking an experienced Residential Manager to lead the Home’s operations, clinical governance and people management, ensuring high-quality resident care and service delivery.

In this senior role you will drive workforce planning, financial performance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement with support from a multidisciplinary Leadership & Management Team and BaptistCare’s Innovation & Quality colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor qualification in Nursing or Allied Health.
• Minimum five years' senior management experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum five years' clinical experience.
• Sound understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, HELF, funding models and subsidies.
• Demonstrated success managing a medium to large residential aged care home.
• Strong financial acumen with budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading organisational change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of the Home, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and overall service delivery.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment for residents, families and employees.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment, retention, coaching, capacity building and succession planning initiatives.
• Manage financial performance, budgets, occupancy and minutes of care compliance.
• Maintain compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, WHS, Fair Work and relevant legislation.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, health professionals and community stakeholders.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee effective incident, risk and complaints management processes to ensure outstanding outcomes for residents and families.
