Job summary

Churches of Christ in Toowoomba invites a skilled Facility Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership across a 94-bed residential aged care service. You will lead a diverse team, ensuring excellent resident care, safety and compliance while driving quality outcomes and financial performance.

With ongoing upgrades and a move to a fully staffed roster, the role offers autonomy, collaboration with governance and HR teams, and opportunities to shape the service's next chapter.

Qualifications

• Experienced aged care leader with clinical credibility and maturity.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience as a Service Manager, Facility Manager or Residential Manager in residential aged care.
• Strong governance, compliance and accreditation knowledge.
• Ability to interpret clinical and operational performance data (AN-ACC).

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical and operational leadership across the service.
• Lead and develop a diverse multidisciplinary team with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure high standards of resident care, wellbeing, safety and customer service.
• Oversee governance, compliance, accreditation and quality outcomes.
• Monitor clinical indicators and use data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive operational and financial performance including rostering and AN-ACC.
• Build relationships with residents, families, employees and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager and support teams to manage risks and deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Empower leadership team to own their areas.
