Qualifications

• Experienced aged care leader with clinical credibility and maturity.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience as a Service Manager, Facility Manager or Residential Manager in residential aged care.
• Strong governance, compliance and accreditation knowledge.
• Ability to interpret clinical and operational performance data (AN-ACC).

Facility Manager | Residential Aged Care

$140,000 + Super + Salary Packaging + Relocation

As Service Manager of our Toowoomba Aged Care site, you will provide overall leadership across our 94-bed service, balancing clinical excellence, quality and compliance, people leadership and operational performance.

You'll work closely with your Regional Manager and a broader support network across Seniors Living, including Governance, Quality, and HR teams. You'll have the support around you to lead confidently while having the autonomy to make decisions and drive meaningful improvement within your service.

With refurbishment and upgrades underway and the service moving towards a fully staffed roster, this is an exciting time to join the team and help shape its next chapter.

What you'll be responsible for

• Provide strong clinical and operational leadership across the service.
• Lead and develop a diverse multidisciplinary team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure high standards of resident care, wellbeing, safety and customer service.
• Maintain strong oversight of clinical governance, compliance, accreditation and quality outcomes.
• Monitor clinical indicators and use data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive strong operational and financial performance, including workforce, rostering and AN-ACC.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, employees and key community stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with your Regional Manager and specialist support teams to identify risks, develop action plans and deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Empower your leadership team to take ownership of their areas of responsibility and perform at their best.

About you

You are an experienced aged care leader who brings clinical credibility, maturity and confidence to a complex residential environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience as a Service Manager, Facility Manager or Residential Manager in residential aged care.
• Demonstrated experience leading a large residential aged care service and workforce.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, compliance, accreditation and contemporary aged care practice.
• Experience interpreting clinical and operational performance data, including AN-ACC.
• Strong people leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse workforce with confidence and empathy.
• The ability to have challenging conversations, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
• A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to bring people together and lead by example.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

$140,000 + superannuation + salary packaging benefits up $18,549 p/a + relocation package of up to $5,000 (for eligible candidates relocating to Toowoomba) + employee benefits.
