Department of Transport and Main Roads in Brisbane seeks a Senior Advisor (RIP Cost Control) to provide financial administration, governance and project controls across the Rail Infrastructure Investment Program. You will coordinate forecasting, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure timely, accurate information for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial administration, project finance, or project controls within a large organisation.
• Advanced skills in 3PCM, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or equivalent systems.
• Proven expertise in financial management, including budgeting, reporting and analysis, with proficiency in financial software.
• Ability to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations and draft quality correspondence and reports.

Responsabilités

• Provide financial administration, governance and project controls support across the Rail Infrastructure Investment Program.
• Coordinate portfolio forecasting, accruals, reconciliations and financial reporting processes.
• Assist with planning, baseline management, budget management, change control and performance analysis.
• Coordinate monthly portfolio reporting, dashboards, metrics and performance insights across major rail programs.
• Monitor financial and delivery performance, identify risks and provide analysis for decision-making.
• Coordinate governance and assurance activities, including reports, presentations and correspondence.
• Maintain portfolio management systems, records, and reporting datasets with strong governance and auditability.
