Job summary

The Law Society of South Australia is seeking a policy and governance professional to prepare high-quality briefings, Ministerials, Cabinet submissions, speeches and documents for parliamentary processes for the Minister and CEO.

You will engage with inter- and intra-jurisdictional committees and other intergovernmental processes, work with third-party organisations on data-sharing agreements under statutory provisions, and help ensure complaints and service issues are resolved transparently and

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality briefings, Ministerials, Cabinet submissions, speeches and documents for parliamentary processes for the Minister and CEO.
• Support the organisation in its engagement in inter- and intra-jurisdictional committees and other intergovernmental processes.
• Work with third-party organisations to develop data-sharing agreements under section 185 of the Return to Work Act 2014 and internal governance policies.
• Ensure complaints are investigated and resolved transparently, impartially and consistently in accordance with legislation and policy.
• Resolve service and communication issues quickly and effectively.
• Ensure worker, employer and provider concerns are heard and addressed responsively, empathetically, fairly and promptly.
