Job summary

You will prepare cabinet, parliamentary and ministerial materials, develop practical policy proposals, and collaborate with justice partners to implement reforms while maintaining strong team relationships.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of policy development, implementation or law is expected.
• Sound knowledge of Victorian Government processes and policy development.
• Experience in governance, financial reporting or performance reporting.
• Strong policy skills with the ability to develop clear options and recommendations.
• Ability to assess complex issues and provide clear, informed advice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex cabinet, parliamentary and ministerial documents and correspondence.
• Develop and implement practical policy proposals, programs and initiatives across the Attorney‑General's portfolio.
• Provide clear and informed advice on policy, performance and justice system reform issues.
• Work with justice system partners to deliver effective policy and reform projects.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships while supporting a positive and inclusive team.
