La Trobe University is offering a full-time position as a Senior Administration Officer to support the Global Health and Equity Development team. This role is vital for managing administrative functions and improving health and equity across communities.
Applicants should possess a relevant degree or extensive experience, alongside strong organizational and communication skills. A key part of the job involves networking with various stakeholders and managing critical administrative processes.
The Senior Administration Officer provides professional administration services to support and further the work of the Global Health and Equity Development team who conduct research and large-scale translation activities in Australia and internationally, directly improving health and equity for individuals and communities, and positively influence health systems and policy. The team works on health literacy development across all levels of society, including communities that experience profound disadvantages and marginalization.
The Senior Administration Officer provides focused administrative support for Distinguished Professor Richard Osborne, and for the whole team as required. The role ensures the smooth operationalization of administrative processes in an efficient and timely manner, that enables the team to work optimally. The role will be working with a broad range of stakeholders, requiring authentic cultural inclusiveness, and respectful engagement with people locally and globally.
A key component of the role is the management of the registration, licensing, and invoicing, of Intellectual Property (IP), research tools, and methods, for global distribution and usage.
