The Primary Care and Community Health Unit consists of 9 centres that provide a range of services for children, young people and their families, adults, older people and their carers. Our services range from health promotion, prevention and early detection through to assessment, treatment and continuing care. Our staff work in partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, non-government agencies and other organisations to provide care across our centres, in people’s homes, other community venues as well as virtual care (telehealth) .
Are you an experienced administrative professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a motivated and proactive Senior Administration Coordinator to lead a dedicated administration team within a busy Community Health Centre environment.
In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day support to a small administration team, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality administrative services to clients, visitors, clinicians and managers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for patients and stakeholders while supporting the smooth operation of centre activities.
Working closely with the Administration Support Manager, you will assist with the supervision and coordination of administration staff and functions, ensuring workloads are managed effectively and service standards are consistently achieved. You will foster a positive team culture, provide mentoring and support to staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer service outcomes.
The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in administration within a complex service environment, along with excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. You will be confident in leading and supporting staff, managing competing priorities, and building strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
