Job summary

Marsh is seeking an Actuarial Consultant for our Risk Consulting Pacific team, based in Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD. This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office weekly and provides opportunities to deliver actuarial and risk analytics to diverse clients.

You will develop modelling skills, manage end-to-end engagements, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders while building strong client relationships across industries.

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Studies, Data Science, Statistics or related technical field.
• At least 2 years in the insurance industry.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply actuarial modelling skills to support client projects and advisory work.
• Execute end-to-end delivery of client engagements with quality and timely completion.
• Communicate key insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships across industries.
• Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through analytical and advisory support.
• Contribute to projects such as actuarial reserving, technical pricing, stochastic loss modelling, risk finance optimisation and limit validation reviews.
