PCYC NSW is seeking a passionate Senior General Activities Officer to coordinate sport activities and events at the PCYC Queanbeyan club. This part-time role offers flexibility including afternoons, evenings, school holidays and weekend work.

You will lead a team to deliver engaging, safe activities for young people, provide customer service and administration, and you may pursue coaching accreditation; WWCC and National Police Checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programs and coaching.
• Coaching accreditation or working towards accreditation.
• Strong computer literacy and administration experience.
• First Aid, CPR and/or sports management/coaching certs desirable.
• Ability to obtain Working With Children Check & National Police Check.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Queanbeyan team to provide positive experiences to young people.In this varied and flexible role, classified as Senior General Activities Officer under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be coaching and guiding young people, and:

• Drive a team to deliver fun, interactive, engaging and safe activities and programs
• Provide customer service and administration duties

About You

Are you a passionate person and haveflexibility to work afternoons and evenings, school holidays and weekends? As well as,

• Do you have skills and experience in coordinating programs and coaching?
• Do you have a coaching accreditation or working towards attaining a coaching accreditation?
• Do you possess strong computer literacy and administration experience?
• Do you have a First Aid certification, CPR Certification and/or Cert 1 in Sports Management, Coaching or Gymnastics (desirable)?
• Are you a reliable and trustworthy person for the care of young people?
• Are you a positive role model, collaborative and team orientated?
• Do you have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills?
• Do you have experience in working with children, building relationships and customer service?
• Do you have the  ability to  obtain compliant Working With Children Check and National Police Check?
