Responsibilities

• Work with diverse client base across hospitality, professional services, trades, construction, property and real estate.
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for various entities (excluding SMSFs).
• Apply expertise in Div 7A, PSI, CGT and FBT.
• Deliver advisory services with direct client contact from engagement to completion.
• Train and mentor junior and intermediate accountants.
• Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies as required.
• Maintain and prepare client financial records with accuracy and compliance.

Due to strong growth, a well-established boutique firm is seeking a Business Services Senior Accountant / Supervisor join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 5+ years’ experience in an Australian accounting firm, who is CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion, to step into a senior, client-facing role.

About the Role

• Work with a diverse client base across hospitality, professional services, trades, construction, property and real estate, and more
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities (excluding SMSFs)
• Apply technical expertise in Div 7A, PSI, CGT and FBT
• Deliver advisory services, with direct client contact from engagement through to completion
• Train and mentor junior and intermediate accountants
• Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies as required
• Maintain and prepare client financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance

About You

• 5-10 years’ experience in public practice accounting
• CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
• Experience training or reviewing the work of graduate and junior accountants
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
