Jenner Recruitment Pty is assisting a well-established financial planning and accounting firm on the Gold Coast to attract a dedicated Senior Accountant. You will manage a diverse High Net Worth client portfolio, supervise a capable team and play a key role in ensuring excellence in client service and compliance.

You will bring at least 3 years in business services with taxation and financial reporting in Australia, strong accounting knowledge, and a proactive approach to practice management

Competenze

• At least 3 years in business services including taxation and financial reporting in Australia.
• Demonstrated skillset in people management with positive outcomes.
• Able to manage a small but High Net Worth book with a competent team.
• Strong technical knowledge base in accounting.
• Australian Accounting Degree or CPA/CA with relevant tertiary qualification.
• Understanding of running an accounting firm with best practice culture.

The Role

• The management of a diverse HNW client portfolio in conjunction with the other staff
• Review of various compliance functions for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals
• Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management financial statements
• Tax Planning
• Understand the clients needs and ensure the business promotes excellence with all client service standards
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and third party providers
• Liaison with third parties including banks, property agents and other advisers
• Business planning from a practice management perspective
• Be an integral part of the senior team in the direction of the business going forward

About You

You will be a forward thinking and self motivated Senior Accountant that is committed to assisting clients and the team to reach their full potential.

In order for you to be considered for this position, you will require the following:

• At least3 years in business services including taxation, financial reporting preferably in a Public Practice environment in Australia
• Have a demonstrated skillset in people management with positive outcomes
• Be able to manage a small but High Net Worth book of complex clients with a competent team
• Have strong technical knowledge base in Accounting
• An Australian Accounting Degree or CPA or CA with a relevant tertiary qualification
• An understanding of what it takes to run and manage an Accounting firm who pride themselves on best practice
