Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our not-for-profit client in Adelaide, SA. You will prepare financial statements, budgets, and management reports, ensure compliance with ATO and IFRS, and lead budgeting and financial planning processes.

You will oversee payroll, salary packaging, and donor reporting, collaborating with auditors and program managers to improve financial controls and literacy across the organisation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualified or working towards) with relevant experience.
• Experience in preparing financial statements, budgeting, taxation compliance, auditing, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and ACNC/ATO reporting requirements.
• Ability to maintain internal control systems, liaise with stakeholders, and advise on financial efficiencies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration aligned with RBS values.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations, ATO requirements, and IFRS including taxation lodgements.
• Conduct internal financial investigations, audits, and present findings to management or boards.
• Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Lead the annual budgeting process in consultation with management and program leaders.
• Oversee payroll processes, including superannuation and leave provisions; manage salary packaging and FBT exemptions.
