Job summary

A boutique chartered accounting firm in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Accountant/Client Manager to lead client relationships, provide proactive business advice, and deliver high-quality compliance services.

You will manage a portfolio of SME, family groups and high-net-worth clients, prepare financial statements and tax returns, and deliver tax planning and advisory services while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with Directors on complex matters.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification completed.
• 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Public practice accounting experience in an Australian firm.
• Strong knowledge across tax and business services.
• Experience managing client relationships and providing advisory services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team.
• Proactive approach to helping clients succeed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME, family groups and high-net-worth clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types.
• Provide tax planning, business advisory and strategic advice.
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes.
• Mentor and review the work of junior accountants.
• Collaborate with Directors on complex client matters and business development.
