Job summary

Plasdene Glass-Pak is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Australia. The role focuses on delivering timely financial reporting, supporting business decision-making, and enhancing finance processes in a growing, stable family-owned business.

You will work closely with operational leaders, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end reporting.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP preferable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
• Monitor internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Analyze sales and margin performance to drive profitability.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting.
