Job summary

C3Talent in Brisbane CBD is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established Australian organisation. You will report to the CFO and handle broad accounting duties across multiple entities, with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

This hands-on role requires CA/CPA qualification, strong financial accounting experience, solid Excel and ERP skills, and a proactive, commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with strong financial accounting experience.
• Confident managing month-end, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end processes, including journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports across multiple entities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
• Assist with statutory compliance and audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights.
