Job summary

Prime Financial Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Accounting & Business Advisory team. You’ll work with business owners across a diverse client base, delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services and building trusted client relationships.

You’ll bring CA/CPA or nearing completion, 3+ years in public practice, and strong technical accounting and tax knowledge. You’ll collaborate across divisions and support junior staff, contributing to strategic decisions

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
• 3+ years’ experience in public practice accounting.
• Experience across tax, compliance, business advisory and/or outsourced CFO services.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Experience within a mid-tier or similar professional services environment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Preparing BAS and IAS returns and ensuring compliance obligations are met.
• Supporting clients with technical matters including CGT, GST and Division 7A.
• Preparing management reports, board packs and business performance insights.
• Supporting business owners with strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients.
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with junior team members.
• Collaborating across Prime’s Accounting, Wealth, SMSF, Capital and Consulting divisions to deliver integrated client outcomes.

Senior Accountant - Accounting & Business Advisory

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting & Business Advisory team. This is an opportunity to broaden your advisory exposure, build trusted client relationships and make a genuine impact within a collaborative and growing firm.

You’ll work closely with business owners across a diverse client base, helping them navigate challenges, identify opportunities and achieve their goals through expert accounting, taxation and advisory support.

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a broad range of clients.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys working with clients.

You’ll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification, or be nearing completion
• 3+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
• Experience across tax, compliance, business advisory and/or outsourced CFO services
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
