Job summary

Prime Advisory in Sydney CBD is seeking an Intermediate to early Senior Accountant to join our team. You’ll take real ownership of your work, manage client relationships, and step into a more senior, client-facing role.

You’ll prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals, while leveraging Xero and cloud accounting tools. The role offers hybrid work and CA/CPA study support to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Around 3–6 years' Australian public practice experience.
• Solid experience with financial statements and tax returns across companies, trusts and individuals.
• Strong grounding in Australian tax, including Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT, GST and BAS.
• Confidence with Xero and cloud accounting software.
• Comfort dealing directly with clients, plus strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and investment entities
• Managing your own jobs from start to finish with limited supervision
• Working directly with clients, building relationships and becoming their go-to contact
• Advising on Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT, GST and BAS
• Working in Xero and other cloud accounting platforms
• Supporting partners on tax planning and structuring work as you grow

We're now looking for an Intermediate to early Senior Accountant to join our Sydney CBD team. You'll be technically strong, take real ownership of your work and be ready to step up into a more senior, client-facing role.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and investment entities
• Managing your own jobs from start to finish with limited supervision
• Working directly with clients, building relationships and becoming their go-to contact
• Advising on Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT, GST and BAS
• Working in Xero and other cloud accounting platforms
• Supporting partners on tax planning and structuring work as you grow

What you'll bring
