Job summary

Hume Community Housing is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 3-month temporary contract in Sydney. The role requires hands-on accounting expertise and Pronto ERP knowledge to support the finance team during a system integration.

Responsibilities include AP processing, supplier reconciliations, GL reconciliations, and data integration across systems. CA/CPA is advantageous; Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting preferred. Immediate start available.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join an established Australian-owned consumer electronics and retail business on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential for a full-time opportunity following the contract.

This is a hands-on role suited to a finance professional with strong accounting experience and Pronto ERP knowledge who can hit the ground running and support the finance team through a period of system integration.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable invoices and reconcile supplier statements.


• Follow up and process supplier claims.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant.


• Pronto experience is essential.


• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.


• CA/CPA qualification is advantageous.


• Strong financial and analytical skills.


• Experience with an ERP system, with Pronto highly desirable.


• Experience using Xero, XPM and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and SUMIF.


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
