Job summary

MW Recruitment is seeking a Senior Accountant for a regional Queensland firm. This role offers fully remote work with no commute, focusing on Business Services and Tax, with a strong emphasis on primary production clients across Australia.

You will manage financial statements, tax returns, Div 7A, CGT, BAS/FBT, IAS, and advisory work while liaising with clients and maintaining records. The firm prides itself on a modern approach and a supportive, client-focused team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• Proven exposure to primary production clients.
• CA/CPA completed or working towards it.
• Strong technical ability with excellent communication skills.
• Self-sufficient and comfortable working remotely.
• Experience with HandiTax essential.

This established regional QLD firm is growing and looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Tax team. If you have strong experience in Australian public practice, particularly across primary production and you're after genuine flexibility without the commute, this one is worth a look.

You will work across a broad and varied client base with a strong focus on the primary production sector, managing everything from compliance through to advisory. The firm is modern in its approach and built around people who know what they're doing.
