Six Black Pens Pty is seeking a strategic Senior Account Director to join our client service team. You will drive and grow client accounts, partnering with strategy and creative teams to craft compelling briefs and plans. The role involves leading complex projects across advertising, brand and communications for top clients.

The position is hybrid: 4 days onsite at our Pyrmont waterfront offices and 1 day remote. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

We're a strategy-driven creative agency working with complex corporates and tier 1 brands. We're 17 years young, independent and growing. We work with clients to define their needs, from initial foundation strategy through to making brands live, using design, digital, comms, content and advertising.

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for a strategic minded, smart Senior Account Director to join our client service team, someone who gets a kick out of solving business issues and loves the strategic and creative process.

Someone with buttoned down client management skills who loves building strong relationships, enjoys working collaboratively and mentoring more junior team members.

You’ll work closely with the strategy and creative teams and enjoy inputting into the process to craft compelling ideas.

As a senior lead in client service, you will be working across some of the largest clients in their categories, as diverse as banking, fin tech, health insurance, wealth, NFP and super.

You’ll enjoy getting under the skin of your client's category and business, adding value to the relationship and creating strong, insightful briefs and client plans.

You’ll take responsibility for driving and growing your client accounts.

• 8+ years of advertising, brand or communications agency experience is a must.
• Corporate and financial services experience will be highly regarded (but not essential if you can demonstrate your ability to deliver great work in a complex category with exceptional stakeholder management).
• Strong experience leading and managing integrated projects across initial strategy, brand and customer value proposition development, 1 :1, digital, content, advertising and communications programs.
• Solid financial management and commercial acumen.
• High levels of client consulting and management and a drive to make every project the best it can be.
• A fire in your belly, an entrepreneurial spirit.

This is a hybrid role, 4 days onsite in our waterfront offices in Pyrmont and 1 day remote.

Note this is not an advertising sales role.
