Job summary

A specialist educational institution seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to mentor and support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. You will assist teachers, report on pupil progress, and supervise extracurricular activities to enhance the educational experience. The successful candidate is required to have a strong educational background and previous experience in a similar role. Qualifications

• Minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
• Strong basic education ideally to A-level.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support one pupil or a small group of no more than six pupils.
• Support the Classroom Teacher during lessons.
• Report on pupils' progress and concerns.
