Job summary

Limagrain in Australia is seeking a Regional Product Development Manager for QLD. You will plan, coordinate, and execute the product development process and make advancement recommendations to meet market needs. The role is ideal for candidates in SE Queensland and involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Highly organized, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Technical/Behavioural: Excellent oral and written communication, responsibility for actions, professionalism, and sales/negotiating skills.
• Systems: Intermediate MS Office.
• Experience (Industry): Vegetable industry experience preferred but not required.
• Experience (Years): Minimum 3–5 years in the vegetable industry preferred.
• Education: Tertiary qualifications in horticulture or agriculture preferred but not essential.
• Licenses / Certifications: Current and valid Australian drivers licence.
• Visa status: Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorships offered).

Responsibilities

• Provides high level service and technical product information to support sales teams and customers.
• Develops and implements annual trial plans to identify new varieties meeting customer needs and ensures seed sample availability.
• Establishes and evaluates product development trials to manage portfolio and drive sales growth.
• Develops product development action plans to build a sustainable pipeline of products.
• Monitors market trends and competitor products and maintains knowledge of key competitors.
• Collaborates with local Sales teams, National Product Development Manager, and international marketing and R&D teams.
• Coordinates meetings and events such as Product Development Training, industry conventions, and field days.
