Caught In The Act Security Solutions is seeking a Security Technician in the Greater Melbourne Area for installing, configuring and maintaining CCTV, alarm, and access control systems for a diverse client base.

This full-time, on-site role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting skills, OH&S compliance, and the ability to travel to client sites within the Greater Melbourne region. You will document work and educate clients on system operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Security Technician.
• Experience with CCTV, alarm systems and access control.
• Knowledge of IP-based surveillance networking and cybersecurity.
• OH&S on-site safety knowledge and practice.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Greater Melbourne.
• Licensing or certifications for security installation in the region.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.
• Conduct site assessments and perform cable runs.
• Set up network-connected surveillance and alarm systems.
• Diagnose, resolve technical issues and complete service calls.
• Document work and educate clients on system operation.
