Job summary

NEXTDC is seeking an experienced and motivated Security Team Leader to oversee security operations at our Perth Data Centre. You will manage day-to-day security operations, lead a frontline security team, and ensure a safe, compliant, and professional environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in security, facilities, or operations.
• Experience managing incident response and physical security controls.
• Experience in security operations within critical infrastructure or regulated environments.
• Excellent organizational skills with audit readiness.
• Ability to lead a customer-focused security function with high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily security operations across all shifts with consistency and professionalism.
• Provide first-line leadership including performance management and team development.
• Act as primary escalation point for incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
• Roster staff with security guard providers, plan leave and cover short-notice periods.
• Ensure site security coverage and operational resilience, including front-of-house standards.
