Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Service Technician, Security Technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, networking, infrastructure, and information management.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software solutions.
• Understanding of Australian legislation, standards, and best practices; international standards is advantageous.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues, coordinate repairs and replacements.
• Deliver on-site installation projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Monitor system performance and perform proactive maintenance.
• Provide technical support and expert advice to clients, ensuring high service levels.
• Manage and maintain client asset fleets to agreed standards.
• Prepare accurate service reports and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
• Follow policies, procedures, emergency management, and industry best practices.
• Ensure installations and repairs comply with manufacturer specs and standards.
