Job summary

Wilson Group is hiring an experienced Electronic Security Technician in Tullamarine, VIC. The role covers installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems across a diverse client base with a fully maintained vehicle provided.

You will diagnose issues, respond to service and emergency requests, and ensure exceptional customer service. Requires relevant licences and EWP ticket, with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Certificate III or higher in a relevant technical discipline such as ICT, Systems, Security Installation, Telecommunications, or Electrical.
Current Security Licence Installer/Certification (required).
White Card (required).
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket (required).
Experience with Lenel, Axis, Gallagher or similar platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Diagnose hardware and software issues, coordinating repairs and replacements to minimise downtime.
Deliver on-site installation projects in accordance with client requirements, within safety, time and budget constraints.
Monitor and maintain security system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Provide technical support and expert advice to clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
Prepare accurate service reports and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
