Job summary

SICE Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks an experienced Project Engineer - Security Systems to lead design, integration, testing and commissioning of security solutions for critical infrastructure across Australia.

You will coordinate with Project Managers, Systems Engineers and vendors to ensure compliant and fully integrated solutions, including CCTV, Access Control, PIDS and VMS, with a focus on cybersecurity and interoperability.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering security projects.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, Access Control and/or Intrusion Detection technologies.
• Knowledge of system integration architectures.
• Experience producing engineering and testing documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Collaborative and professional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Engineering & Design Review project specifications, design criteria and contractual requirements.
• Develop detailed engineering documentation including architecture diagrams, CCTV layouts and coverage plans.
• Produce camera coverage studies, storage calculations and bandwidth assessments.
• Design and integrate CCTV, Access Control and Alarm Systems, PIDS and VMS.
• Coordinate interfaces between security and communications systems.
• Review vendor documentation and participate in design reviews and technical assurance processes.
• Support project delivery from detailed design through testing and commissioning.
