Job summary

Sydney SICE Pty is seeking a Project Engineer - Security Systems to support large-scale security and communications infrastructure projects across Australia. You will design, integrate, test and commission security systems for critical infrastructure including substations and control centres.

Focus areas include Genetec Security Center, CCTV, access control, perimeter detection and OT environments, with strong emphasis on design accuracy, documentation and stakeholder coordination throughout the

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in security solutions or critical infrastructure projects.
• Security Licence (or eligible to obtain one).
• Eligible to work in Australia and able to travel to project sites.
• Experience with FAT/SAT and test reports.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and design criteria.
• Develop detailed engineering documentation including CCTV layouts, access control designs, and alarm system schedules.
• Produce camera coverage studies, storage calculations and network bandwidth assessments.
• Design and integrate CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and video management systems.
• Coordinate interfaces between security and communications systems.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities and support site acceptance testing.
