Job summary

Cenitex is seeking a Solution Architect - Security to shape technology solutions for the Victorian Government. You will translate business needs into secure, scalable architectures and advise on risk, capacity and service continuity.

Lead with architectural thinking across projects, engage with customers and senior stakeholders, and contribute to Cenitex’s security strategy and delivery of modern IT services.

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge and experience in IT Security/Cybersecurity strategy creation and macro designing IT Security/Cybersecurity infrastructure-based solutions.
• Superior leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to credibly communicate, negotiate and obtain strategic outcomes at the most senior level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to analyse issues from different perspectives and draw commercially sound recommendations.
• Strategic thinker and commercially astute, with an ability to see the ‘big picture’ and deliver outcomes in accordance with strategic direction.
• Baseline security cleared is a requirement; NV1 security clearance would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Translate and describe business requirements to IT-based requirements.
• Ensure projects are comprehensively planned and macro designed to meet stakeholder requirements and Cenitex standards.
• Undertake high level architectural thinking and decision making in absence of operational policies.
• Ensure macro designs cover IT Capacity, Availability and Service Continuity.
• Understand risk context to identify macro architectures and countermeasures to mitigate risks.
