Job summary

Serene Security Pty Ltd in Brisbane North seeks a hands-on installer to fit security screens, blinds, awnings and shutters in residential and commercial settings. Represent the company on site, ensuring workmanship meets our quality standards and customers receive a professional experience. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with occasional overtime and some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Previous installation or hands-on trade experience.
• Experience with security screens, blinds, awnings or shutters preferred.
• Current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card required.

About the Role

You’ll install security screens, blinds, awnings and shutters in residential homes and businesses across North Brisbane.

You’ll represent Serene Security on site, ensuring every installation meets our quality standards and every customer receives a professional experience.

Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, with occasional overtime and some flexibility in work hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Install products accurately, safely and to a high standard
• Prepare properly by checking materials, equipment and job requirements
• Treat customers homes with respect and leave every site clean and tidy
• Identify issues early and communicate them before they become problems
• Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the office and team
• Take responsibility for the quality of your work and follow through until the job is completed properly
• Look for ways to improve workmanship, efficiency and the customer experience

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience in installation, construction or a hands-on trade role. Experience with security screens, blinds, awnings or shutters is highly regarded
• Strong practical and mechanical aptitude
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Construction White Card (and relevant trade qualifications where applicable)
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
• Live locally or within a reasonable distance from the Redcliffe Peninsula
