Job summary

Kinetic IT is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead security operations and incident response for a major enterprise client. The role is based onsite in the CBD with a focus on governance, risk, and measurable security outcomes.

You will collaborate with the Information Security Manager and executive stakeholders to drive security resilience, manage incidents, and continuously improve services across a multi-vendor environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise cyber security operations or security service delivery teams.
• Proven ability to manage operational security services against KPIs and SLAs.
• Demonstrated track record in governance, risk management and service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and performance of Security Operations and Cyber Threat & Incident Response services.
• Oversee security incident response, escalation, and stakeholder communications.
• Govern vulnerability management and remediation programs with the Information Security Manager.
• Drive Implementations aligned with Essential Eight Maturity Levels 1 and 2.
• Oversee firewall, PKI, and network security governance activities.
• Manage service performance against contractual KPIs, SLAs, and governance obligations.
• Lead operational risk management, audit remediation, and continual service improvements.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and executives.
• Provide exec-level reporting on cyber risk and security posture.
