MSS Security is seeking full-time reliever security officers to join our team at the University of Melbourne. You'll work as part of a dedicated, customer-focused team, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors, conducting regular foot patrols across the campus, and providing assistance where needed in a dynamic, active and professional environment.

This role requires strong communication, incident reporting, and the ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, with compliance to security

Qualifications

• Full Australian Working Rights.
• Current Victorian Security Licence.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR valid.
• Current driver's license.
• Working with children check (or willing to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular foot patrols across the campus, outdoors.
• Assist visitors with directions and navigation, escorting when required.
• Ensure campus property is securely locked and unlocked as needed.
• Write detailed incident reports.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders across the University.

About the Role

MSS Security is seeking full-time reliever security officers to join our team at the University of Melbourne. You'll work as part of a dedicated, customer-focused team, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors, conducting regular foot patrols across the campus, and providing assistance where needed in a dynamic, active and professional environment.

Key Duties

• Conduct regular foot patrols across the campus, primarily outdoors
• Assist visitors with directions and navigation, including escorting them across the campus if required
• Ensure that campus property is securely locked and unlocked as necessary
• Write detailed reports in response to incidents
• Communicate clearly and calmly with stakeholders across the University

Requirements

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current Victorian Security Licence
• Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
• Current driver's license
• Employee working with children check (Or willing to obtain)
• Availability to work a 24*7 rotating roster
• Able to comfortably walk distances of 15-25km over the course of a 12-hour shift
• Strong communication skills
• Strong ability to write detailed and accurate incident reports
