Job summary

Delaware North Australia is seeking an Apprentice Electronic Gaming Technician at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. You will begin a four-year apprenticeship to complete Certificate III in Electronics and Communications and gain hands-on training in installation, maintenance, and repair of gaming machines and related equipment.

Under supervision you will perform bench repairs, assist with installation and relocation of gaming equipment, and keep accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Must commit to four-year apprenticeship to complete Certificate III in Electronics and Communications.
• Year 12 (Secondary Education) completed.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace.
• Hold a current full C-class driver’s licence, with ability to travel to Keno venues across Darwin and the Northern Territory.

Responsibilities

• Enrol in a 4 year apprenticeship to complete Certificate III in Electronics and Communications.
• Undertake training in installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic gaming machines and related equipment.
• Under supervision, perform bench-level repairs on electronic gaming modules using test equipment (slot machines, Keno terminals, etc.).
• Under supervision, complete installation and relocation of gaming equipment, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Provide quick responses to equipment failures or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs and technician records, ensuring service requirements are tracked.
