Security Officer – Part-Time

We are currently seeking professional and reliable Security Officer/s to join our team at Hillarys. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation that values professionalism, safety and service excellence.

About The Role

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. The role involves a mix of patrols, incident response and client‑facing duties.

Positions available: Part‑time

Potential earnings / Award Level: up to Level 2

Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Roster (example)

• Tuesday: 11:00am to 09:30pm
• Thursday: 05:00pm to 12:30am
• Saturday: 10:00am to 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property and assets
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies and requests for assistance
• Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records

About You

• A valid Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual work history
