Job summary

Wilson Security is expanding in the Northern Territory, offering full-time roles in the Darwin precinct. The positions focus on enhanced response and support for our teams and clients. A MSIC is required or eligible to apply; NT Driver's licence and First Aid/CPR are also essential, with a rotating 24/7 roster.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role in security
• Current and valid NT Security licence
• Current and valid NT Driver's licence
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Basic worksite traffic management or traffic controller certification (Desirable)
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods
• Excellent computer and administration skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional personal presentation
• Proven conflict resolution experience
• Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
• Willingness to work day/night shifts, weekends and public holidays

Potential earnings up to $100 000 (*Potential earnings up to $100 000 p.a. subject to availability, hours worked including overtime, classification, and other factors)

Wilson Security is expanding in the Northern Territory securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of The Northern Territory. This growth has created new roles within our Northern Territory Team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients. These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in a response role with a reputable organisation on a full time basis in the Darwin precinct.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Extensive experience within the Security Services industry


• Exceptional interpersonal skills


• Must have a current MSIC or be eligible to apply and hold MSIC


• Be flexible to work across a rotating roster, 7-day week, 365 days a year (24/7, day and night shifts)


• A non-judgmental, empathetic approach to Customers


• Previous experience in similar role (preferred but not essential)


• Highly safety and security focused, with the ability to think on the go


• A strong Customer Service focus


• Observe and monitor individual's behaviour


• Ability to manage challenging situations in a positive way


• Respond to incidents in a calm and confident manner


• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written


• Exceptional reporting skills


• A high level of personal presentation and conduct


• The ability to work in a team


• The ability to comply with all policies and procedures

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Experienced guards with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role


• Current and valid NT Security licence


• Current and valid NT Driver's licence


• Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR
