Job summary

Securecorp is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a premier retail site at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne. You will guard, patrol, monitor and control premises, while delivering exceptional security and customer service. Emergency response and incident reporting are also key duties.

The role requires a current Security License, First Aid & CPR certification, and strong communication. Flexible shifts including nights and weekends are essential for this busy site, with opportunities

About the Opportunity

Securecorp is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a full-time Security Officer to join one of our premier retail sites at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will have the chance to:

• Deliver exceptional security and customer service
• Guard, patrol, monitor, and control assigned premises
• Respond to emergencies and alarm events, providing essential support
• Assess and address potential risks
• Manage access control
• Write incident reports and maintain data logs

Key Selection Criteria

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Hold a current Security License and valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Have proven experience in the security industry
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Rostered Hours

Week 1 – 48 hours

• Monday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)
• Tuesday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)
• Saturday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Sunday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)

Week 2 – 36 hours

• Thursday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Friday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)

Week 3 – 48 hours

• Monday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Tuesday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Saturday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)
• Sunday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)

Week 4 – 36 hours
