Job summary

Securecorp is actively recruiting Retail Security Officers to join our team across multiple retail sites in Victoria. Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual roles are available at Cranbourne, Frankston, and Bayside locations.

Successful candidates will hold a current Security License with First Aid & CPR certification, bring proven security experience (retail preferred), and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Flexibility for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Security License and valid First Aid & CPR certification.
• Have proven experience in the security industry (Retail preferred).
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to ensure safety and prevent loss or damage.
• Control and manage access to the premises, ensuring only authorised entry.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarm activations promptly and effectively.
• Identify and address potential security risks or hazards.
• Conduct surveillance using patrols and CCTV monitoring.

About The Opportunity

We are currently seeking professional, reliable and customer-focused Retail Security Officers to join our team across multiple retail sites.

We have opportunities available for Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Security Officers, with positions available at the following:

• Cranbourne
• Frankston
• Bayside

Duties And Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver exceptional security services while maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Guard, patrol, and monitor assigned premises to ensure safety and prevent loss or damage
• Control and manage access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and alarm activations
• Identify, assess, and address potential security risks or hazards
• Conduct regular surveillance through patrols and monitoring systems (e.g., CCTV)
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain detailed records and data logs
• Liaise with management, staff, and emergency services when required
• Support the enforcement of company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Provide assistance to customers and staff while maintaining a secure environment

Key Selection Criteria

We’re Looking For Candidates Who

• Hold a current Security License and valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Have proven experience in the security industry (Retail Prefered)
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential
