Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Operations professional to support the Security Incident Response and Enterprise Support Strategy & Operations teams in Sydney. The role focuses on operational planning, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize service performance.

The successful candidate will drive rhythm of business cadences, develop KPIs, and partner with data teams to ensure actionable metrics across AWS Support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience.
• Experience developing business analytics or equivalent.
• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
• Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication. You write clearly and concisely, and you tailor your communication to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the business operations support for the AWS Security Incident Response service team, acting as a partner to service leadership on operational planning, mechanism development, stakeholder communications, program management and cross-functional coordination
• Support rhythm of business cadences including MBR, QBR, WBR, and OP planning by delivering data-driven insights, reporting, and operational recommendations to Security Incident Response leadership
• Lead KPI planning and metrics transformation efforts for AWS Security Incident Response, connecting service-level metrics to AWS broader security goals and KPIs
• Partner with BIE teams on data onboarding, migration, and sprint prioritization to ensure Security Incident Response metrics are available in AWS Support reporting platforms
• Author requirements documentation including Pathfinder requests, business requirements documents, and narratives to drive alignment on data and dashboard initiatives
• Support security goals across AWS Support by aligning Security Incident Response business performance measurement with organization-wide security objectives and executive reporting standards
• Build scalable mechanisms and frameworks that enable leadership to measure operational effectiveness, identify trends, and make informed decisions
• Leverage AI tools to drive operational efficiency and support automation for stakeholders across the security services portfolio
