Job summary

Downer is seeking casual Security Guards to join our team at Shellharbour Town Centre. These roles are paid in accordance with the Security Services Industry Award, with applicable penalty rates for night shifts and weekends.

You will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, control site access and respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies. Mandatory qualifications include Certificate II in Security Operations, current First Aid/ CPR and Working with Children Check, plus CCTV/Access control

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Security Operations is mandatory.
• Certificate III in Security Operations is desirable.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (mandatory).
• Current Working with Children Check (mandatory).
• Experience monitoring CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on de-escalation.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like:
